This Trail Tail reduces drag and eliminates the wear that occurs at the rear of snowshoes.

CRAMPON/CLEATS
Backside view of snowshoe shows crampon/cleats and rivet pins for traction. We use expensive, longer aluminum pop rivets on our snowshoes, which give extra traction. Compare this to other manufacturers who use inexpensive flat steel rivets. Full 1/8" thick hardened alumnium forward, aft and center cleat provide aggressive unsurpassed traction in all snow and ice conditions.

Snowshoe jogging and running is usually done on broken trails and firm snow, so smaller surface area snowshoes serve well for runners of all weights under such conditions. Complete with the drag-and-wear minimizing Tail Trail, Super Strap Binding System and 1/8" thick tempered aluminum forward, aft and center cleats.

A heal decking protector pad is attached to each snowshoe. A forward, aft and center T-6 tempered aluminum cleat is provided for maximum traction.  All of our aluminum framed snowshoes have been designed for peak performance and come complete with our very popular bindings which have received very positive reviews because they afford a secure, snug fit with an easy-on and easy-off procedure.

All our Rotoflex bindings have been ergonomically designed. The pivot is located for maximum comfort and for the most aggressive position of the traction cleats. Just walk naturally!

Our oval shaped snowshoes are designed to give the maximum floatation while keeping the width to a minimum, so they are easy to use. Snowshoes that are narrow at the tail require wider centers to equal the floatation of the oval shape or they do not support as much weight. Oval shaped snowshoes are the best and most effective.

Safety Information: The recommended weight capacity is for average settled snow conditions. A larger snowshoe is suggested for soft powder conditions and a smaller snowshoe is suggested for wet packed snow conditions.
